DRD4-7R, also known as the 'Adventure gene', is a specific DNA sequence that is found in 20% of humans. These people are wired in such a way that they are happiest when they are seeking adventure, travel and exploration.

Joe Phillips
Leading the team at 7R, Joe is a Technical Diving Instructor Trainer in both open circuit and CCR.

His love of diving originated through a passion for adventure and exploration
Joe built up his qualifications diving with some of the worlds best technical instructors
​
He has taught beginners and experts alike from more than 60 countries
He has travelled the world visiting the best dive-sites, including the blue hole in Dahab, the untouched caves of Sulawesi in Indonesia and the many wrecks of the Philippines. He is now based in Malta with a hand-picked team of instructors and the common aim of sharing some of the best diving on the planet with fellow adventurers.

Petra Sevcovicova
Petra is a Slovakian diving enthusiast who's been diving since her youth. As part of 7R team team, she ensures that each dive is fun, safe, and filled with adventure.
Petra's years of experience have allowed her to explore some of the world's most amazing dive spots.
She also ensures that each excursion is well documented, with the highlights posted to our social media for all to see.

Our home
Positioned on the picturesque seafront of St Julian’s bay, 7R Diving is Malta's newest and most dynamic scuba diving centre. Great customer service is at the core of everything we believe in so we insist on small groups and an exclusive service. Our prime position means that we are within easy reach of all the hotels and apartments on the St Julian’s and Sliema seafront. Being located literally on the water’s edge allows us to offer services that other centres can only dream of. We have remodelled our centre from the ground up to bring you a stylish yet comfortable base for all of your diving adventures.
